Looking approximately South. Trentham Range is about between the center and next-left streetlight power poles.

How it works
An IP camera on the roof provides a video stream. A web server on-site is serving this web site, running WordPress. Every 5 minutes a cron-job captures a frame from the camera video stream and sends it to the web server.
Note: The time is wrong at the top-right. This is an on-screen-display from the camera which is picking up time from the server. For some reason it’s not accounting for DST. I just haven’t bothered fixing it yet.
The camera is a HD 1080p low-light zoom box type in a plastic housing. It’s set to remain color 24/7, no IR night switching. The line through the image is a guy wire on a water pipe.
